Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account — name, email, phone, password (stored hashed, never in readable form).
• Orders — delivery address, phone, items, order history.
• Messages — conversations with sellers and with support.
• Usage — pages viewed, searches, device and browser, via analytics.
• Sellers — business details and verification documents such as CNIC and business proof.

We do not collect or store card or bank details. Orders are cash on delivery.

Why

• To process and deliver orders, and to handle returns.
• To send transactional email — order confirmations, status updates, password resets.
• To verify sellers and keep the marketplace safe.
• To improve the site, using aggregate usage data.

Who we share it with

• The seller you ordered from — your name, delivery address and phone, so they can fulfil the order. They receive nothing else.
• Courier partners — the same delivery details, to complete the delivery.
• Service providers — hosting, email delivery, image hosting, error monitoring and analytics, who process data on our behalf.
• Law enforcement — where we are legally required to.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We also use analytics and session-replay tools to understand how the site is used and where it fails. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in and checkout will stop working.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and dispute resolution. Seller verification documents are kept while the store is active and for a period afterwards, as required. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will retain what the law requires us to and remove the rest.

Your choices

• Update your name, phone and password in your profile at any time.
• Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Ask for your account to be deleted.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email. Transactional email about your orders will continue.

Children

PakShop is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PakShop after a change means you accept it.
